Hola! I am Gaby Melian 💚

Welcome to Gaby's Kitchen! I am Gaby Melian, a professional chef with over 20 years of experience in the field, where I’ve taken many different roles: private chef, culinary instructor, empanada vendor at Food Street Fairs, official Food Revolution ambassador with Jamie Oliver (the British chef founder of Food Revolution), Manager at Bon Appétit magazine's Test Kitchen, where I participated in their videos which is why my face is probably familiar to you. 

In 2020, I left the Test Kitchen and have been working on my projects, developing recipes, creating content on my YouTube channel from my home kitchen: “Gaby's Kitchen.” and sharing my journey on social media.

My first book, "Food Related Stories,” is a collection of stories for Young Adults in which I share some of the twists and turns of my culinary career and how food has always been present in all my battles. Gaby's Latin American Kitchen is my second book, published by America's Test Kitchen Kids; it is a children's cookbook with a collection of 70 Latin American recipes, intended for anyone with a curiosity about Latin Cuisine.

I live in Jersey City with my dog ​​Pucho, and I share ideas and recipes daily to inspire you to cook or at least try.
