NEWS FROM GABY’S KITCHEN
Hi Gabbers!
It’s been a minute since my last update. I have some exciting news to share: I’m now part of a Talent Agency, which could lead to new opportunities! Fingers crossed!
And on September 15th, 2025, I will be inducted as a new Member of the New York chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier International (LDNY), the pre-eminent global women’s organization in food, fine beverage, and hospitality. This is a long-time-coming bucket list goal for me. More than 20 years ago, I had the honor to assist during hands-on cooking classes with Chefs from Les Dames d’Escoffier at the Institute of Culinary Education, my Alma Mater and I always knew this day would come. I am happy and honored to start my journey with such an amazing group of women!
This year has had its ups and downs. I’ve picked up a few part-time and freelance gigs since January, which has helped, and thanks to the donations on my GoFundMe, I was able to reopen my cooking classes at Gaby’s Kitchen, with plans to continue in September.

As a content creator, writer, chef, teacher, and food educator, it’s a challenge to make a living, especially as a single woman in this post-pandemic world.. But I’m determined to make my goals a reality, and I always appreciate your support!
I want to teach more people, especially young adults, how to cook. I’m committed to making it happen, but I need your help to get there. While I get my dream TV show and start making all that money.
